Eleven medals and no blisters. Nigel walks Nijmegen for the air ambulance again

Nigel Feltham of Croydon Lodge of Mark Master Masons has walked the Nijmegen Four Days Marches again, and collected his eleventh medal. He walked it, as he does every year, for the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance.

In his own words:

The Nijmegen walk is done, but I’m still overwhelmed by the generosity shown by every single one of you who donated, whether before I set off, cheered me on with a donation mid-walk, or added your support after I’d crossed the finish line. Walking those miles was tough, but knowing I had so much support behind me made every step feel worth it.

Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance does extraordinary work, being there in someone’s darkest moment, often when seconds matter most. Because of your kindness, that vital service can keep flying and keep saving lives.

Nigel’s thanks go to Nicola Feltham, for getting him fit and ready to walk every day, to Dean Stewart for the communications, and to his friends, supporters and sponsors. No blisters, he reports, yet again.
